Job Description

Straitnz is a leading organization in the industry, and we are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial reports and maintaining our financial systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end closing procedures.
  3. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  4. Perform account reconciliation and analyze variances.
  5. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  6. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.

About You

  • You must have a degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CAANZ membership (or working towards CA status) is essential.
  • You have 3+ years of financial accounting experience in a large or complex organization.
  • Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting standards is required.
  • You possess strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
