Key Responsibilities

  • Main Duties:
  • Install and repair electrical distribution systems;
  • Collaborate with our streetlighting team to deliver projects and maintenance contracts;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers to ensure their loyalty and trust.

Essential Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in directly related activities;
  • Proficiency in distribution systems and associated procedures up to and including 33kV;
  • Knowledge of tree compliance regulations and vegetation management procedures (desirable);
  • Compliance with industry rules and regulations, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015;
  • Strong lines construction skills with a focus on safety;
  • Practical skills, including equipment operation and maintenance;
  • Ability to read and understand plans and maps;
  • General knowledge of traffic management requirements (desirable);
  • A current Unrestricted Manual NZ Driver Licence;
  • A Heavy vehicle license is preferable.
