Job Description: As a Grounds Instructor, your role will be multi-layered, involving custodial responsibilities, industry-based responsibilities (including health and safety) and training responsibilities. You will provide prisoners with an employment pathway and assist them in gaining work habits, experience, and skills sought by industry employers.

Your key responsibilities will include maintaining grounds and facilities, instructing prisoners in gardening and landscaping skills, and promoting health and safety practices. You will also need to develop and deliver training programs to equip prisoners with the skills and knowledge required for employment in the landscaping and horticulture industry.

We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and positive individual who can remain resilient in a constantly changing environment. You will need to have excellent people management and communication skills, as well as outstanding Health & Safety practice. The entry-level salary for this role is $70,014 - $78,376, and appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
