Job Title: Senior Coronial Information Advisor
About the RoleThe Ministry of Justice - New Zealand is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Coronial Information Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to positive change in the Aotearoa New Zealand justice system.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Coronial Information Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Triaging on behalf of the team, drafting complex responses, and facilitating the provision of official correspondence, data, and information relating to the Coronial system and the Ministry of Justice;
- Maintaining consistent and standardized alignment of systems and processes for managing incoming and outgoing requests;
- Quality reviewing responses from the team to ensure they meet statutory requirements, align to publicly available information, are issued within relevant timeframes, and are tailored for the requestor.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in working with information, official correspondence, or data;
- An ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds through well-developed written and oral communication skills;
- Resilience and the skill to manage sensitive or graphic details.
