Nursing Coordinator for Neurosurgery and Paediatric Surgery

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Neurosurgery and Paediatric Surgery.
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating the surgical pathway for patients and their whanau, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal outcomes.
You will work closely with our dedicated team, including consultants, theatre teams, wards, and other services such as the thrombosis team.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, with some flexibility, stat holidays off, and closure through the Christmas period.
About You
- Registered Nurse holding current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Minimum two years post-graduate experience
- Hold the established right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship, NZ residency or current valid work visa)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks involved in the coordination of elective surgery for two specialties
- Experience in Neurosurgery and/or Paediatric Surgery is advantageous
