Role Overview: The Urology Department at Canterbury District Health Board is seeking a highly organized and experienced booking coordinator to support our clinical bookings on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves coordinating appointments with surgeons and patients, ensuring all information is collated and patient records are complete and managed.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will provide excellent customer service, manage clinics processes, and liaise with surgeons to coordinate operating lists. You will also be responsible for managing the waitlist on the patient management system and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate appointments with surgeons and patients
  • Ensure all information is collated and patient records are complete and managed
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage clinics processes
  • Liaise with surgeons to coordinate operating lists
  • Manage the waitlist on the patient management system

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require strong customer service skills, computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word), organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. You must be able to achieve accuracy and maintain attention to detail while meeting deadlines and working unsupervised.
