About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Whānau Support Advocate. In this role, you will work closely with whānau, assessing the needs of tamariki and developing strategies to support their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of tamariki, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing plans to address any concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with whānau, educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for the child and family.
  • Provide education and guidance on healthy parenting practices, nutrition, and childcare.

Requirements

  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • A full clean NZ Drivers Licence
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including Māori and Pasifika families
