We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dermatologist to join our team at Southland Hospital.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing outpatient clinics for patients referred into secondary care by their General Practitioner.

You will work closely with specialist teams in Dunedin hospital to provide advice, support, and treatment for acute complex skin conditions.

Clinics will need to be provided both in Dunedin as well as Invercargill, and some travel will be required for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Training and postgraduate qualifications as a Medical Dermatologist
  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Dermatologist or be eligible to apply for Provisional Vocational Registration as a Dermatologist

Benefits

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980 per annum pro rata), dependent on prior experience and allowances in addition to this.
