We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Dunedin. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for leading the daily operations of our Dunedin store, including managing a team of sales assistants, achieving sales targets, and ensuring operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing teams, and delivering operational excellence.
Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Maintain a strong focus on operational excellence, including stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
- Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills, knowledge, and career aspirations.
- Ensure efficient OH&S management and adherence to state and national legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
- A motivated and driven attitude with a passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
- A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
- Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
