Facilities Maintenance and Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager to join our team at the Port of Auckland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring they remain safe and efficient for our customers and employees.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and tenants. If you have a passion for facilities management and a commitment to delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, including building inspections and repairs.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and tenants to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report on maintenance and refurbishment activities, identifying areas for improvement.
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in an industrial or port environment.
- Strong understanding of facility management principles, including maintenance, lifecycle management, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to various sites as needed.
