The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our Wireless Device Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation activities related to Wireless Device Supply Chain, including transportation from our distribution centers to our end customers, Retail Stores, Indirect Agents as well as returns to our Centralized Returns Tech Centers.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage multiple carriers across various modes of transport, including small parcel, LTL, and TL. You will need to analyze the current transportation model and implement strategies to decrease costs while meeting service level commitments.
You will work closely with warehouse operations teams to ensure tight collaboration between groups and interact daily with carrier and 3PL partners to ensure mutual success in exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transportation activities to meet or exceed customer service levels.
- Analyze and implement cost containment initiatives and process improvements across the transportation network.
- Evaluate and optimize transportation models to reduce costs.
- Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure seamless device transportation.
- Support NPI Device Launches and Peak Season Planning.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop data-driven business cases to support improvement efforts.
- Lead cross-functional pilots to demonstrate and evaluate alternative transportation models.
Requirements:
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience, military experience, or specialized training.
- Supply chain experience.
- Experience with small parcel transportation.
- Ability to lead projects and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office products, SAP, ITTS, Tableau, and inventory systems.
