About the Role
This Ophthalmology Registrar position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with experienced clinicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of diverse patient populations
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of ophthalmic services
- To engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
Completed PGY2 and eligible for a general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Experience in ophthalmology at a registrar level is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
