Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead our Auckland team in developing a portfolio of cloud platforms and applications for veterinary software. As a key member of our engineering squad, you will be responsible for hands-on technical work, tackling complex challenges while creating clear paths for the team to follow.

As a leader by example, you will demonstrate your expertise in areas such as engineering, architecture, or quality assurance, providing guidance and mentorship that empowers the squad to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions and prioritize pragmatic technical improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Technical people influencer with the ability to evolve culture and process towards better engagement, agility, automated testing, and DevSecOps
  • Experienced in principles and practices related to cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies (such as React) and cloud backend technologies (such as GoLang, Typescript, .NET, Ruby, Java)
  • Agile processes including Scrum, Kanban, and/or others
  • Previous experience in scaled SaaS environment is desirable
