Job RequirementsWe are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at OceanaGold Waihi. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and undertaking electrical repairs to underground earthmoving equipment.
Key Qualifications- Full and current Class 1 Driver Licence, the ability to drive manual vehicles.
- Previous experience in a 24-hour, continual process production environment and in a heavy industrial environment is preferred but not essential.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze a problem to select an appropriate solution.
The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen to and convey information to achieve a positive result. A high level of physical fitness and a willingness to contribute to the team environment are also essential.
