About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to support the planning and reporting that underpins our strategic direction, from the Long Term Plan and Annual Plan to our internal business planning processes.

  • Developing and monitoring our corporate planning and reporting processes, ensuring transparency and effectiveness.
  • Providing advice on business planning and operational priorities, working closely with the Corporate Planning Lead and colleagues across the organisation.
  • Contribution to council accountability documents like the Annual Plan and Annual Report, analysing internal and external risks that may impact delivery.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights and practical advice, influencing across an organisation.
About You
  • Experience in business planning, project coordination or reporting, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative style and the ability to influence across an organisation.
  • Bonus: Previous experience working with local government planning and accountability processes, demonstrating a clear understanding of the sector.
