Job Description:

  • Draft, review, and revise policies through conducting thorough research
  • Maintain Policy register and collaborate with stakeholders for input and consensus on policy development
  • Ensure MOE licensing policy review criteria are met
  • Manage formal & privacy complaints and provide advice and guidance to organisation's leaders
  • Collect, review, analyse and summarise evidence collected in complaints investigations
  • Provide advice and guidance to organisation on privacy matters that may impact on or breach Playcentre Aotearoa's members or employees

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in policy analysis or development
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • A knowledge and understanding of the Privacy Act 2020 and the Official Information Act 1982 sufficient to fulfil the role of Privacy Officer
  • Strong relationship management skills - proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong ethical judgement and ability to handle confidential information
