Woodworking Specialist

Tangram seeks a skilled Cabinet Maker to construct high-quality cabinets and other products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery assembly and cabinet making, with the ability to apply wet spray finishes as a bonus.

This role requires someone who is reliable, possesses excellent time management skills, communicates effectively, and is conscientious about health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build cabinets and other products.
2. Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders safely and efficiently.
3. Apply wet spray finishes on cabinet components as required.
4. Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
5. Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
6. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a joiner or cabinet maker.
• Ability to apply wet spray finishes, a definite plus.
• Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools used in cabinet making.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and quality in workmanship.
• Health and safety conscious attitude.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy materials.
