As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a seamless experience with Squirrel. You'll be at the heart of Investment operations, managing customer queries, supporting investor registrations, and contributing to the growth of the Squirrel Money platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound calls, assist with investor registrations, respond to customer queries via phone and email, and ensure all documentation is complete.
  • Operational & Credit Support: Provide critical support to the Operations and Credit teams. You'll gain hands-on experience with P2P investing & Managed Fund products, risk management, IT requirements, and platform management.
  • Documentation & Processing: Ensure all documentation is arranged properly, including guarantees and PPSR registrations, and maintain high standards of communication with clients, Squirrel Advisors, and legal partners.
  • Compliance: Assist the Risk team with compliance activities, ensuring AML/CFT processes are followed and all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Brand Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and perception of Squirrel Money's brand, ensuring the experience is customer-centric and aligned with our values.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles (phone or email), with an understanding of the investment process.
  • Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mindset: A proactive, flexible, and solutions-driven approach to customer service and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge: A basic understanding of investment processes, with a keen interest in finance and technology.
  • Qualification: Finance or Business qualification is preferred but not essential.
