We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Medical Officer in Women's and Children's Health.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and help shape the future of our service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct ward rounds and participate in ward work to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care.
- Undertake pre-theatre assessments and operation lists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, case conferences, and reviews to maintain open communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Vocational registration in Obstetrics and Gynaecology speciality.
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand with scope of practice.
- A practising certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Satisfactory check as per the Children's Act.
- Experience in building and sustaining collaborative working relationships in a high-pressure environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
