About The RoleThis position reports to the Operations Manager and involves designing, creating, and maintaining gardens to meet client specifications. You'll source plants and materials, follow garden plans, and plant according to best practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing visually appealing gardens that meet client expectations.
- Managing day-to-day operations of assigned sites within the contract.
- Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager and/or client, addressing any garden or planting issues promptly.
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality in all tasks.
We're seeking an experienced horticulturist who takes pride in delivering top-quality results. You'll bring:
- A Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance requirements.
- The ability to follow and implement detailed garden plans accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with residents if needed.
- A proactive attitude and dedication to achieving high standards in every task.
