Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Access/EWP Field Service Technician to join our team at Hirepool. As a key member of our Access Branches in Mt Wellington or Silverdale, you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our access equipment, ensuring our customers receive reliable and safe equipment when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of access equipment
- Inspecting and certifying our access equipment to ensure it meets safety standards
- Providing expert assistance to colleagues and customers both in branches and on-site
- Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs in our workshops
- Responding to breakdowns and completing scheduled maintenance on customer sites
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A mechanical trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Plant and Equipment or similar
- A full Class 1 Driver Licence
- An in-depth understanding of Auto Electrical systems, with experience in 48V systems being advantageous
- High attention to detail and strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- The CBIP1 or EWPA Registered inspector Programme (RIP) qualification would be highly beneficial
