Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead our Intelligence Directorate team in delivering advanced data analytics solutions using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented data analysts, designing data-driven solutions, and providing technical guidance to your staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of data analysts in developing and delivering advanced data analytics solutions.
  • Design and lead projects that utilise unique datasets from various sources to rapidly deliver new capabilities.
  • Provide technical and personal guidance to staff members.
  • Support the coordination of Intelligence Directorate's operational response to urgent or complex customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a line-management role, preferably in a data engineering or analysis environment.
  • Strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to engage with technical best practices and minimise technical debt.
  • Prioritisation skills to effectively manage incoming work and requests.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working in a creative and dynamic environment.
