Job Requirements

This is an IT Support Group job opening for a highly skilled ICT Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure and operations. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and analyze the business's IT system functionality by conducting system audits of implemented technologies.
  2. Maintain IT network security through the management and installation of antivirus and anti-spyware applications.
  3. Monitor the performance of equipment, computer systems, and software to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Test and assess malfunctions of computer hardware and/or peripheral devices to determine appropriate actions for maintaining computer system operations.
  5. Determine hardware and software requirements; install, download, and maintain appropriate software for computers.
  6. Procure computer parts, supplies, and materials to ensure the availability of items commonly required to repair computer hardware.
  7. Build database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions; design database architecture.
  8. Create computer networks and security programs and install relevant software.
  9. Program security system features to ensure proper functionality and diagnose malfunctions.
  10. Provide data transfer, recovery, and backup services.
  11. Repair computers, peripherals, network equipment, and electronic products.
  12. Develop the company website's content and visual design.
  13. Develop and maintain customized mobile or web applications specifically designed for Travel Corner.
  14. Develop a technical plan for the website and strategies to promote the business online.
  15. Maintain or update the website by adding new content, illustrations, and features.
  16. Set up, configure, and support web servers, desktops, web APIs, and MS Exchange, ensuring patches and upgrades are applied.
  17. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure booking engine has up to date data of current holiday, cruise and other offers.
  2. Work to analyze the data from Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels and other platforms campaign data.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma Level 5 or higher in IT or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and security protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
