We are seeking two new volunteer trustees to join our board. As a trustee, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of Art for Life Trust.

About Us

Art for Life Trust provides art lessons to students with special needs through painting and drawing in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We serve a diverse group of students with various needs and abilities.

Social Media/Marketing Responsibilities

  1. Manage our social media platforms and update the website.
  2. Create engaging content to promote events, including our annual exhibition.
  3. Explore new marketing opportunities to expand our reach.
  4. Shape and evolve our social media presence.
  5. Have creative freedom to experiment with content and marketing approaches.

Fundraising & Community Engagement Responsibilities

  1. Identify funding organisations that meet our criteria.
  2. Write and submit applications with supporting documentation for funding.
  3. Ensure reports required by funders are filed on time.
  4. Develop fundraising strategies.
  5. Work with business development to build community roots.

As a volunteer trustee, you would assist in managing governance functions to ensure the trust's sustainability. We meet once a month for approximately 1 hour, and the time commitment is typically less than 5–10 hours per month.

Qualifications

Experience is advantageous but not required. A handover with current officers will be arranged.
