We are one of the most diverse healthcare providers in Australasia, offering primary, secondary and tertiary services within a variety of hospital and community-based facilities.

This is a unique opportunity to join our Women's Health Service where you'll be instrumental in overall service delivery management by managing complex problems of a wide and varied nature on a daily basis.

You will use a systems approach to ensure beds and staffing resource availability is maximised across our departments/locations. You'll have the opportunity to enhance your leadership skills by coaching and supporting midwifery and nursing staff out of hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing complex problems of a wide and varied nature within the service on a daily basis
  • Using a systems approach to ensure beds and staffing resource availability is maximised
  • Coaching and supporting midwifery and nursing staff out of hours
  • Providing clinical advice to teams in the primary birthing units as required

Requirements:

  • New Zealand Registered Midwife
  • Minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience in Secondary Maternity Care
