Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Body in Motion Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in community settings and possess excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing rehabilitation plans to help patients overcome daily living challenges.
- Providing vocational rehabilitation services to support clients in regaining their optimal level of function.
- Collaborating with the team to formulate rehabilitation pathways and ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Completing reporting requirements for funding agencies to ensure continuity of care.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current Occupational Therapy tertiary level degree.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to motivate and empower patients to manage their problems effectively.
- A clean and full driver's license to facilitate community-based services.
