**Role Overview**

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in pharmacy practice, particularly in hospital outpatient settings. As a senior pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to plan, promote and develop the future direction of quality outpatient pharmacy services at Auckland City Hospital.

**Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring safe and efficient work-flow within the dispensary to provide quality outpatient pharmacy services.
  • Developing retail and OTC sales by working closely with staff on site and visitors.
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in providing leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff.
**Ideal Candidate**

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality pharmacy services in a hospital outpatient setting. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
