Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and versatile General Handyman to join our team at The Glebe Luxury Apartments. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from routine repairs to more complex projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of apartments, outdoor areas, and storage rooms to identify potential issues.
  • Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including appliance servicing, basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
  • Respond to maintenance requests generated by staff members and guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and building property.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certifications preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance work or property upkeep.
  • Ability to lift up to 60kg occasionally, and/or 30kg frequently, and/or 20kg constantly.
  • Full driver's license.
