This is an exciting opportunity to join the Refugee Trauma Recovery team at New Zealand Red Cross. As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will work closely with former refugees who have experienced trauma and provide them with culturally appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Provide clinical and emotional support to clients
• Coordinate care and make referrals to relevant agencies
• Advocate for client access to services and promote self-care and mental health support within refugee communities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Counselling or a related field
• Registration with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors or another approved professional body
• Extensive experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
