Salary
This role offers an appointing salary range from $130,614 to $179,876 based on skills and experience. As a Senior Lawyer PAL4, you will be rewarded with a competitive package that reflects your value to our team.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated criminal litigator to join our Wellington office as a Senior Lawyer PAL4. Reporting to the Office Public Defender, you will deliver high-quality defence representation to legally aided clients, manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, including high-profile cases, and appear on High Court and Court of Appeals when required. You will also train, mentor, and supervise junior lawyers to help them progress their careers.
