Job Description

The Clinical Outcomes Specialist II will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of clinical quality initiatives at Kettering Health Network. This role will involve collecting and analyzing clinical data to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives and making recommendations for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain databases to collect and analyze clinical data for quality initiatives and core measures.
  • Perform data abstraction using established guidelines to support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to quarterly and semi-annual data reviews and support data submission as needed.
  • Collaborate with managers to report physician performance variances for Service Line intervention and peer review purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Current RN license in Ohio required.
  • Three years of recent clinical cardiovascular or medical/surgical nursing experience required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools preferred.
