Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced technology educator to join our team at our Westport campus. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovation and be able to create engaging learning experiences for our students.
About the Position
This full-time, permanent role involves teaching technology to secondary students (Years 7–15). While preference will be given to those with experience in design and visual communication (DVC), we welcome applications from all technology specialists who are ready to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver innovative technology lessons that cater to diverse student needs
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and modern learning resources to enhance teaching and engage students
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of academic excellence and support staff growth
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid New Zealand teaching certification
- Experience teaching technology to secondary students
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
