The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and civil engineering, specializing in Steelwork, Cladding, Groundworks, Steel Frame & RC Frame.

The salary for this role is £50,000 – £55,000 per annum, plus benefits package.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting drawings and designs, highlighting inconsistencies to the line manager.
  • Verifying materials and plant deliveries for quality and quantity compliance.
  • Tracking attendance and timekeeping of subcontractors and operatives.
  • Developing and implementing RAMS, Inspection Test Plans, and ensuring client updates.

Liaising with clients, reporting progress, quality, environmental, and health and safety matters, as well as liaising with professional staff and the public.

Maintaining a professional demeanor during internal and site meetings.

Ability to read and work from drawings, conveying information on drawings to others.

Understanding and working to programmes, producing short-term site-based programmes.

Ordering materials, maintaining running totals records, and supervising subcontract trades and general labour.

Setting up and inputting to subcontractor meetings, carrying out formal safety inspections, and preparing site reports and test plans.

Maintaining quality control procedures, utilizing company systems, procedures, forms, templates, and policies.

Motivating the workforce, problem-solving, and assisting with internal and external audits.

Advising the line manager and commercial team of changes, delays, or requests for additional works.

Completing site health and safety, quality, and environmental inspections, along with job-related paperwork.
