About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Fitter Technician - Electrical to join our team in Napier. As a Fitter Technician - Electrical, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment in a high-voltage substation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of electrical equipment
  • Installation of new electrical equipment
  • Commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Working at heights and confined spaces
  • Use of personal protective equipment

About You

  • You must hold an EWRB practising license
  • A Full Clean NZ Class 1 Driver's License is required
  • You should have a minimum of 5+ years experience in the High Voltage electrical industry
  • Certified electrician with NZ registration or eligible to gain NZ registration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the High Voltage Industry
