Electrical Installation Lecturer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Lecturer in Electrical and Built Environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning programmes in Electrical Installations or Electrotechnical across various levels of further education, apprenticeship, or T-level provision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical installation and the Built Environment, with a proven track record of professional/vocational expertise in Electrical installation for Domestic and Commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and assessment of learning programmes
  • Programme leadership, tutorial, and administration duties
  • Planning and preparation of sessions
  • Learning and assessment paperwork

The successful candidate must be suitably qualified to the industry-recognised standard in relevant built environment electrical installation, inspection, and testing qualifications at L3 minimum; AM2 or similar is also required for this role.

A post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2 or willingness to achieve these within an agreed timeframe are essential. Experience of effective programme leadership in FE, HE, and/or Apprenticeships, along with a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice, would be desirable.
