The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back End Engineer with expertise in cloud compute services to join our next-gen cloud geodata platform team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our market-leading solutions, Seequent Evo, leveraging the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable and secure cloud-based architectures, utilizing leading cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Leverage expertise in cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software applications, components, and modules that meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years working with cloud providers and technologies.
  • Experience with or curiosity to learn the following tools: Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with cloud providers like Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines (i.e. GitHub, Gitlab, etc.).
