Role Overview

We have three vacancies for enthusiastic Consultant Anaesthetists to join our team as Senior Anaesthetists - ICU Specialists. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care to patients in the ICU and other areas of the hospital
  • Contribute to the development of new services and programs within the department
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and reduce morbidity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Completed specialist training in anaesthesia (preferably FANZCA +/ FCICM)
  • Eligibility to obtain provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Experience in Intensive Care Medicine (formal qualification(s) in ICU highly desirable)

  • A base salary of $280,000 - $320,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time role working 3.66 FTE, with a commitment of 6 clinical sessions per week and 3 non-clinical sessions. You will also be required to participate in an after-hours roster that covers normal Anaesthetic work and our level 2 ICU.
