Our competitive salary structure offers:

  • Level 3: $26.94 per hour (for holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)

Job Description

As a Kaiawhina | Support Worker, you will provide essential services to individuals with high-risk care requirements, including palliative care, dementia, mental health, medication management, and daily living activities. Your primary focus will be on empowering clients to live independently in their own homes and communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A level 3 or 4 health and wellbeing certificate (recognized in NZ)
  • Experience working with individuals with spinal injuries and hoist equipment
  • Ability to administer prescribed medication
  • Understanding and respect for the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bi-cultural approach
  • Full/restricted driver's license
