This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Heavy Plant Equipment Operator to join our team at our Green Island site in Dunedin. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient waste disposal and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key responsibilities and duties of this role include:

  • Operating heavy plant equipment, including compactors, excavators, and dump trucks.
  • Excavating, loading, and transporting soil, gravel, and other materials as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Class 4 Licenses (NZ) and WTRF Endorsements (wheels/tracks/rollers).
  • Relevant experience in operating heavy plant equipment, including earthmoving machinery.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and company policies.
