Master Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Tradestaff New Zealand. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for working on various residential and commercial construction projects across the Auckland region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of construction sites
• Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
• Performing tasks such as framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and verifying trueness of structures
• Fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
• Working with concrete formwork and shuttering joinery (including steel-tying)
• First, second, and final fix skills and experience

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3+ years' experience in carpentry
2. Trade qualifications preferred, or equivalent experience may substitute for formal qualification
3. Your own tools and reliable transport
4. A valid Drivers Licence to drive in NZ
5. At least 2 work references
6. 100% commitment to Health & Safety
7. Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
