Join Our Team - Community Support Worker

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and communities. This may include helping with daily tasks such as personal care, domestic chores, and community participation.

Key Skills and Qualities:

  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g. disability studies, social work)
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Valid New Zealand driver's licence
  • Ability to pass a police check
