Role Overview

Auckland District Health Board seeks an experienced Perfusionist to join the main Cardiac Centre in New Zealand, located at Auckland City Hospital.

The Cardiothoracic Service at Auckland City Hospital is the highest volume unit in Australasia, providing a full range of cardiac surgery for both ischemic and rheumatic heart disease, aortic surgery, heart, lung and liver transplantation.

This role requires a Post graduate Diploma or Masters of Perfusion and certification by the Australasian Board of Perfusion (or by the American, UK or European Boards of Perfusion). Previous experience as a Perfusionist is also essential.

Key responsibilities include working with Stockert S5 heart lung machines and Stockert Connect, and collaborating with the team to ensure excellent patient care.
