Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Senior RF Engineer II to join our team. This role involves managing the acquisition of RF licenses for our cutting-edge systems and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF licensing and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary documentation for license applications. You will prepare and submit frequency license applications for launch vehicles, satellites, and ground stations, and communicate with regulatory authorities and third-party operators throughout the licensing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Radiation Policy Development: Develop radiation policies aligned with mission requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with both local and international regulations.
- Licensing Support: Provide licensing support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Pre-Coordinations and Coordinations: Support pre-coordination and coordination activities, and renew licenses as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on radio communications systems or a related field. You should have 5+ years of experience as an RF regulatory/licensing engineer or in RF engineering roles with extensive RF licensing exposure. Familiarity with ITU radio regulations and general RF licensing processes is also required.
