Job Description: We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation
- Provide physical support as needed
- Assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration
Requirements:
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts
- Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
- Possession of a Full NZ driver's license or willingness to work towards obtaining one
