We have a strong focus on delivering exceptional results for our clients, and we're seeking a talented Senior Functional Consultant to join our D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management practice.

Job Description

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the implementation and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&SCM solutions.

You will lead business requirements gathering, functional design, and implementation of D365 F&SCM components, ensuring that they meet customers' specifications and conform to Datacom's standards and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Functional Financial Expertise: A deep understanding of Microsoft D365 F&SCM modules, particularly Finance including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Expense Management.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft D365 F&SCM or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 implementations and support. Experience in Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, Warehouse Management, Expense Management, Multi-company, Project Accounting, and Financial Management is also highly valued.
  3. Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze and translate financial business requirements into processes and solutions that implement industry-recommended practices, ideally with a focus on out-of-the-box functionality over heavy configuration.
  4. Project Experience: Knowledge of project scoping, analysis, estimation, and post-live training and support functions to help inform and build out our implementation projects or enhancement streams of work.
  5. Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills are essential for creating and maintaining detailed records of system architecture, design specifications, and user requirements.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with and build relationships both internally and externally. This includes key customer contacts & product owners, project managers, end users, and the wider D365 team at Datacom.
  7. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and rectify client issues, whether these are process-driven, technical, or functional challenges.
  8. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) and Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) are highly beneficial.
