Aquaheat Facility Services is a leading provider of facility maintenance services in New Zealand, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of the service delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned or remedial maintenance, installation activities, and trade assistant duties in a professional and tradesperson-like manner. This includes cleaning air filters and associated components, completing minor maintenance, remedial tasks, or installation tasks associated with HVAC Mechanical systems as requested by the Supervisor and/or Service Coordinator. The role requires working unsupervised or as part of a team to deliver high-quality trade services, managing time effectively to meet deadlines, and ensuring a safe working environment for all stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Current Unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area (e.g., labourer, general handyperson, or within the HVAC Mechanical trade)
  • Knowledge and understanding of maintenance practices and procedures
  • Working in a service environment or customer-focused organisation
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with using hand or power equipment
  • Experience working within OH&S guidelines
