We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join our dedicated team in Tauranga, working on complex infrastructure projects. Our Transport and Infrastructure team develops and implements innovative solutions to real-world problems, shaping the Asia Pacific region from highways to ports, bridges to tunnels, airports to rail, three waters to pipeline, and site development.

As a Civil Engineer at Beca, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Communicating proactively and positively
  • Collaborating on design, procurement, and construction
  • Seeking learning opportunities to improve skills and processes
  • Demonstrating effective communication and consulting skills
  • Developing and mentoring others to grow successful careers
  • Fostering client relationships

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Civil Engineering qualification with 3-10 years of experience in consulting or construction, focusing on infrastructure projects
  • An interest in designing and monitoring civil site development, three waters pipelines, stormwater, and transport projects
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of designers and be involved in a model-first approach
  • A passion for automation and technology
  • A 'can do' attitude and enjoy teamwork
  • Eagerness to learn from others and develop yourself
  • Knowledge or experience with design packages like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Open Roads, or 12D
