As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
">About the Role
">We are looking for an experienced or recently graduated Dental Assistant with their X-ray license for the state of GA. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.
">Responsibilities
">- ">
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols">
- Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients as needed">
- Provide information to patients and staff members by answering questions and requests">
- Deliver instruments to treatment areas, position instruments for dentist access, suction, and pass instruments">
- Select, mix, and place materials on instruments and in patients' mouths">
- Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour, trim, and polish study casts">
- Fabricate temporary restorations, clean, and polish removable appliances">
- Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations">
- Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory">
- Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions">
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records">
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential">
- Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations">
- Protect patients and staff members by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols">
- Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results">
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies">
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed">
Qualifications

- A High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)">
- Strong verbal and written communication skills">
- Completion of Dental Assisting Program">
- X-ray Certification for the state of GA">
