About the Role

">

We are looking for an experienced or recently graduated Dental Assistant with their X-ray license for the state of GA. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols">
  • Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients as needed">
  • Provide information to patients and staff members by answering questions and requests">
  • Deliver instruments to treatment areas, position instruments for dentist access, suction, and pass instruments">
  • Select, mix, and place materials on instruments and in patients' mouths">
  • Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour, trim, and polish study casts">
  • Fabricate temporary restorations, clean, and polish removable appliances">
  • Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations">
  • Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory">
  • Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions">
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records">
  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential">
  • Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations">
  • Protect patients and staff members by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols">
  • Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results">
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies">
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed">

Qualifications

  • A High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)">
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills">
  • Completion of Dental Assisting Program">
  • X-ray Certification for the state of GA">
