• We are seeking a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Security Controls Assessor to lead efforts in conducting gap analyses, developing roadmaps, and aligning cybersecurity strategies with federal policies and requirements.

As a Zero Trust-focused professional, you will:

1. Conduct comprehensive gap analyses, mapping current capabilities to the five pillars of the CISA security model and aligning them with the CISA ZTA Maturity Model 2.0 and NIST standards.
2. Analyze existing systems, propose modernization strategies, and incorporate approved recommendations into roadmaps and documentation.
3. Develop and execute a roadmap for implementing and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity capabilities in on-premise and cloud environments.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
5. Provide technical guidance on realizing cross-cutting security solutions that leverage Zero Trust product services and capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to develop undefined tasks into actionable processes.
• Strong understanding of the Zero Trust Framework, including federal policies, CISA guidance, and NIST standards.
• Experience conducting gap analyses and aligning cybersecurity strategies with organizational and federal objectives.
