About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as Rugby Director. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of rugby in the Bay of Plenty region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow participation and engagement in rugby throughout the region
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Oversee the administration and coordination of rugby programs and events, including tournaments and competitions
- Provide coaching and support to junior and senior teams

Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or leadership role in a sporting organization
- Strong governance skills and experience, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Personal character and skills, including integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence
- Cultural diversity - Pacific Island/Maori geographical diversity, secondary school rugby knowledge and/or experience, business connections, governance experience
